Lily Allen on going to therapy: 'I have it when I need it - sometimes things just get too much for me'British singer Lily Allen has revealed that she finds visiting a therapist very useful because she has so many different things going on in her life and it helps her to manage everything around her. During a new interview with Beat magazine, Allen confessed that going to therapy is important to her because she often takes on more than she can handle as a result of being a very caring person who will always make time for people she loves who are going through troubled times: "(I have therapy) when I need it. I had a session last week for the first time in a year. My godfather had died, a friend had turned into the Wolf of Wall Street, and another friend is having a bad time, and I try and mother everyone. And trying to do that while relaunching a pop career and looking after two children got a bit much for a minute." The 'Air Balloon' hitmaker went onto admit that she went to a session with her 'shrink' following an incident where she worried she might have cancer, but was incredibly relieved that the mole she found only turned out to be a blood blister: "I'd been so manic. I got home and took off a ring, and there was a big black mole. I Googled it, and it said 'melanoma'. I didn't want to tell (my husband) Sam. Eventually I went to the doctor - it was a blood blister. But I made an appointment with my shrink the next day." Watch Allen's latest music video here:
