It seems Taylor Swift isn’t the only starlet winning legal battles recently.

Our very own Lily Allen has been awarded a tidy £10,000 in damages after a football magazine claimed she made offensive remarks about the Beckhams and Ashley and Cheryl Cole.

The “Smile” singer had already received the same amount from The Sun newspaper after suing them for reprinting the false allegations made in 'So Foot'.

Richard Dugdale, lawyer for the publisher, said it offered sincere apologies to the claimant for the damage, as well as the upset and embarrassment caused to her by the publication of the article.”

Allen’s solicitor said the pregnant star’s “reputation has been vindicated.”
