Pharrell Williams has put his much talked about Grammys hat up for auction.

The singer raised eyebrows at the music awards ceremony earlier this year by sporting a massive 'mountain' style hat.

He has now put the Vivienne Westwood piece up for auction to raise money for charity From One Hand to Another.

It started at the price he paid for it - $200 (£120) - and at the time of writing, the auction is at $10,500 (£6,298).

The auction's blurb adds: "All proceeds benefit From One Hand to Another whose mission is to help change the world one kid at a time by giving them the tools and resources to meet their unique potential and empower them to nurture curiosity by learning through new technologies, arts, media and motivation!"

'Happy' hitmaker Williams meanwhile will release new album 'G I R L' in the UK on March 3.
