It was recently revealed that a writer named Anna Todd who pens One Direction fan fiction has landed a global publishing deal for a book called 'After', which boasts a lead character who is based on the boyband's very own Harry Styles. 

During a new interview with EntertainmentWise, Todd confessed that she has actors in mind to play Styles if there is ever a movie adaptation of her book:

"Harry Styles! But since he’s not exactly an actor, I love Alex Pettyfer or Douglas Booth for Harry’s character. I used Wattpad’s casting feature to cast Harry in the beginning, that way readers could have a clear image of who I imagined."

She also went onto add that while she is yet to meet the One Direction superstars, she hopes to cross paths with 'Story Of My Life' sensation Styles soon: "I haven’t, I would love to meet all of One Direction. I went to a concert, but sadly, it wasn’t like the fanfics where you meet them and hang out afterwards :) One Direction have been pretty vocal about their humour toward fanfiction so I think he would find it amusing."
