Reality TV star Kim Kardashian West has spoken out about her admiration for British singer-songwriter Sam Smith after getting the chance to meet up with him recently. 

During an interview with Nick Grimshaw on BBC Radio 1, she explained that he has an incredible talent and an amazing personality to match: "His [Sam's] voice, I haven't really heard anything like it, it's just so special. He's such a sweet, sweet person. I've had the chance to meet him a couple of times recently and he's just such a kind person."

Back in August, the 'Stay With Me' sensation opened up about being wary about the people he finds himself surrounded by now that he has found fame, telling The Guardian newspaper: 

"I wonder if they'll be surrounding me if my next album charts at No 104. It's reminding me of that time when my mum had so much money and then all the people she thought were her closest friends disappeared. I'm more wary than anyone about who I surround myself with."
