Gary Glitter found guilty of historic sex offences against girlsGary Glitter has been found guilty of a series of historic sex offences against girls. The former singer was today (February 5) convicted of attempted rape, four counts of indecent assault and one count of sexual intercourse with a girl under the age of 13. He denied all charges and was acquitted of three other counts. 70-year-old - real name Paul Gadd - was found guilty of the offences by a jury at a trial at Southwark Crown Court.
