Today marks International Women's Day (March 8) and female stars of music have been sharing their thoughts on what it means to be a strong, successful woman. 

Fifth Harmony songstress Camila Cabello tweeted: "IT'S INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY!!!! Sending love today and everyday to all the ladies out there. Let's make each other strong. GIRLS ARE SO MAGICAL BECAUSE WE ARE SUPER LOVING AND TENDER AND SOFT BUT WE'LL FIGHT FOR WHAT WE BELIEVE IN AND KICK UR BUTT IF NECESSARY."

Little Mix's Perrie Edwards shared an Instagram post, which reads: "Today is international women's day. In my opinion the BEST day ever. The strength women have should be celebrated everyday... Because let's be honest... We are pretty fucking fantastic! Ladies I salute you."

Spice Girls sensation Geri Halliwell shared an International Women's Day-themed Spotify playlist and told her followers that she hopes they enjoy the songs: "Today is #IWD2016 and I hope this playlist fills your day with a bit of Girl Power!"
