Katy Perry's emotional performance at Teen Radio Awards

Dressed in a white rubber dress emblazoned with a gumball machine, Katy Perry gave an emotional performance at Radio 1’s Teen Radio Awards (November 14).

The ‘Teenage Dream’ singer, who also recently launched her debut fragrance in Selfridges, was back in London on Sunday to perform her hit single, ‘Firework’, at the ceremony. A tearful Perry took to the stage and said:

“I'm allowed to be emotional. Thank you so much for supporting me in this song because it means so much to me.”

Perry, 26, attended the event with new husband Russell Brand and also presented the award for Teen Hero to 16-year-old Connor Rowntree who has endured over 100 operations after he was burnt in an accident.
