Canadian popstar Avril Lavigne has officially, and amicably, divorced from Sum 41 singer Deryck Whibley.

The ‘Sk8er Boi’ singer filed for divorce last year (October 2009) after only three years of marriage to the punk rocker and the union was officially ended on Tuesday (November 16) after a judge signed off on the split.

Because the couple signed a pre-nuptial agreement, the divorce was squeaky clean with both stars’ assets split evenly between them.

According to documents obtained by TMZ.com, Lavigne kept her collection of musical instruments, all the rights to her songs, her car, awards, clothing, plaques and a mansion in Beverly Hills.

Whibley retained his guitar collection, his Sum 41 song back catalogue and his awards.
