Prince makes massive impact on US Billboard singles chart

Prince has had a big impact on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

After the musician's untimely passing on Thursday (April 21), a total of six of his songs are in the US singles chart.

The highest placed tune is 'Purple Rain', which is in at No.17.

'When Doves Cry' is No.20, 'Kiss' is No.28 and 'Little Red Corvette' follows at No.29.

'Let's Go Crazy' is up to No.39, while '1999' rests at No.41.

Over in the UK, Prince currently has three albums in the country's top five.

The cause of the music icon's death won't be known for at least one month.

His brother-in-law recently claimed that Prince didn't sleep for over six days before his passing.
