Dame Elizabeth Taylor has died in the early hours of this morning, March 23, aged 79. 

The Oscar winning actress, who was a very close friend of the late 'King of Pop' Michael Jackson, suffered a history of personal health ailments and was being treated for symptoms of congestive heart failure. 

The Hollywood star's most famous movies included 'Cleopatra' and 'Who's Afraid Of Virginia Wolf', and fans all over the world have been paying tribute to her on social networking site Twitter, on which she was a popular figure who often wrote messages to her 300,000 plus followers.
