Bowie calls Jagger screenplay "piffle"

It was reported over the weekend that David Bowie and Mick Jagger had co-written a script for a comedy film, and Bowie himself took to the internet today (April 11) to clarify the rumours. 

The story appeared on many national media sites, but the 'Changes' singer's team issued a post on his official website earlier this afternoon that dismissed the scipt as "piffle":

"David Bowie summed up the notion that he is, or has been, working with Mick Jagger on a film script for an upcoming comedy with this well-chosen word: 'Piffle'."

Despite this, Bowie is still set to release an EP of remixed versions of his track 'Golden Years' during the summer, and you can watch the pair's video for 'Dancing In The Street' here:
