Rihanna and Chris Brown are "a perfect couple" according to her father Ronald Fenty

Ronald Fenty, the father of Bajan beauty Rihanna, has admitted that it wouldn't be a bad thing if his daughter reunited with former lover Chris Brown because they have "put the past behind them".

In a new interview with Grazia magazine, Ronald (pictured left) explained that her fans see them as being right for each other and they have managed to move on from the shocking assault case of 2009:

"Chris has matured a lot. I think everybody has to put the past behind them. And they seem to have done that. Being a couple is all up to her. Every decision is her decision. I just wish her the best."

"I hope things will work out. Everyone is entitled to make a mistake. Her fans are hoping it will happen. They see them as a perfect couple."

Earlier this week, Rihanna confirmed that she has pulled out of her scheduled performance at 2012's Rock In Rio Madrid following the death of her beloved grandmother.
