Alexandra Burke reveals nerves over forthcoming 'Les Miserables' charity performance

Songstress Alexandra Burke has revealed that she's wracked with nerves ahead of her one-off performance in 'Les Miserables' next month.

She is set to make a cameo in the production in September as part of the BBC's Children in Need Pop Goes the Musical 2012 and told Hello! magazine that the cast of the stage show work incredibly hard and she found herself intimidated by the audience and other performers:

"The cast of Les Miserables work so hard and I hope I'll live up to that. When I was rehearsing my song there were 10 people listening to me. I was shaking so much, I had to clear the room."

Tweeting about her scheduled appearance in the well-loved musical, Burke wrote: "I am thrilled to be a part of @BBCCiN charity & honoured to be performing for the LDN production of @lesmisofficial - #popgoesthemusical"
