N-Dubz man Fazer has revealed that he has penned a song for One Direction.

The British boyband are currently in the throes of working on the follow-up to their 2011 hit 'Up All Night', with numerous musicians expressing an interest in writing tracks for it.

The likes of Example and Scottish indie tykes The View have both said that they would be keen on contributing something for the new record.

Speaking to Capital FM, Fazer has revealed that he will submit a song to the One Direction camp - but he said he didn't actually plan on it when he started writing the track. When asked if he would like to collaborate with One Direction, the N-Dubz star said:

"It's funny you say that, I didn't intentionally make a record for them but I actually came up with something the other day when I was writing and I was like this would actually sound great for One Direction."

Fazer added: "So, I will submit that in the next few weeks and see what happens."
