Conor Maynard wants John Mayer collaboration

Conor Maynard has put John Mayer at the top of his duet wishlist.

The Brighton singer has worked with a number of big names in the past, including Pharrell, Rita Ora and mentor Ne-Yo.

However, it seems Mayer is next in his sights for a collaboration. Maynard said:

"John Mayer would be someone I would love to collaborate with, he is someone I look up to and I think his music is incredible."

He continued: "If I had a song written by him, along the lines of his kind of music that would be crazy."

The 'Vegas Girl' star added that he hopes older men pick up his debut album 'Contrast' despite the first two singles being pop-orientated. He said:

"For me, guys should get the album because even if they think the first two singles are aimed at a younger audience there are definitely tracks on the album that are aimed at an older crowd. It's getting those people to latch onto the album and figure that out."
