One Direction star Liam Payne has revealed how he and bandmate Louis Tomlinson were left red faced after showing their appreciation for an attractive lady.

The boyband are well used to having females wax lyrical about their beauty but it seems on a recent trip to the US the tables were turned.

Speaking to the Sun, Payne said that he and Tomlinson were waiting in a car for a meeting when they beeped the horn at a lady walking by that tickled their fancy.

However, it turned out the woman was actually the chair of their meeting - but to their relief, she was good natured about the incident. He said:

"We were sat outside in our car waiting to go in for a meeting and this woman walked past and she was really attractive. We were proper going for it in the car and hitting the horn. The last thing Louis came out with as she walked into the building was, 'What a bottom!'."

The 'Kiss You' star continued: "We got out the car, went into the same building only to discover this woman was actually the head of the meeting. The funniest thing was she was smiling and took it more as a compliment than an offence. We were very lucky."
