Katy Perry and Russell Brand may be divorced, but that didn't stop the British comedian from saying some rather affectionate things about her during a recent interview with Howard Stern.

The 'Teenage Dream' beauty has moved on from the breakdown of their marriage and is now dating singer-songwriter John Mayer, and Brand had nothing but praise for his ex-wife and one of her body parts in particular.

When asked about their relationship now they're no longer together, Brown initially tried to dodge the subject by joking: "So help me, Howard Stern, I will not compromise my ex-wife’s vagina for the sake of ratings!"

Despite the awkward mention of Perry's lady parts, he then added: "That woman was perfect from top to bottom!"

He didn't have as much love for Mayer (pictured below), however, and confessed that the 'Gravity' musician's womanising ways are "worse or better, depending on how you view it!"

Brand added: "You have to let go of the instinct to protect someone once you divorce them."
