Hilary Duff confirms return to music: 'It's been a long time coming'

Former 'Lizzie McGuire' star Hilary Duff has revealed that she plans to return to the recording studio as it's long overdue and she misses being an artist.

The beauty famously recorded the theme song for 'Laguna Beach' and has been busy raising her son, Luca, but has now confessed that the time has come to make new music.

Speaking to reporters at a FIJI Water event in the Hamptons recently, the 'Come Clean' songstress explained that her passion for singing is stronger than ever and she wants to work on it while she's inspired:

"I'm going to focus on my music. It's been a long time coming. I'm finally buckling down and getting in the studio. I really miss touring. I really miss connecting with my fans in that way."

Duff is currently wrapping up filming an independent movie called 'Flock of Dudes', which she described as "wildly inappropriate and funny and hilarious."
