Mel C: 'I was nearly kicked out of the Spice Girls for telling Victoria to f*** off'

Mel C has revealed that she came close to be chucked out of the Spice Girls for insulting Victoria Beckham.

Speaking to the Daily Star, the Liverpudlian said that the incident happened during a boozy night out at the 1996 Brit Awards.

Whilst Chisholm's memory of the moment is a little hazy, she confirmed that she was warned by her bosses about being fired from the pop group for her behaviour. She said:

"We were at the Brit Awards, sat on a table with Lenny Kravitz and Vanessa Paradis and all these stars, and we all got a bit tipsy. By the end I was really pissed and told Victoria to f**k off. It was so over-dramatised but it really upset her. The next day I was called in by management and they threatened to kick me out of the group due to my behaviour."

The singer concluded: "I can't remember why we were even arguing now but I can remember telling her to 'F' off'."

Mel C meanwhile also revealed recently that the Spice Girls are planning an overdue night out together soon.
