Muse confirmed to headline Glastonbury Festival 2016

Iconic British trio Muse have been announced as one of the headliners of this summer's Glastonbury Festival.

The 'Knights of Cydonia' band will perform on the Pyramid Stage on the Friday night and in doing so will become the first band ever to have headlined every night of the festival.

Muse previously headlined the festival on Saturday night in 2010 and Sunday in 2004.

Other confirmed acts for Glastonbury include PJ Harvey, 'Paradise' hitmakers Coldplay and Jeff Lynne’s Electric Light Orchestra. Glastonbury 2016 will run from Wednesday, June 22 until Sunday, June 26 and tickets have already sold out.
