Robbie Williams has quipped that he is going to undergo a series of plastic surgery procedures.

The 39-year-old singer told The Sun that he will go under the knife when he is 40 in an effort to deter any signs of ageing.

He added that he will get liposuction as well as face operations. Williams said:

"I am going to have everything done. I am going to have a facelift, the chin can go, liposuction. The midlife crisis theory has been creeping up on me for some time."

The Brit star meanwhile is currently No.1 in the UK albums chart despite strong competition from One Direction.

It means that Williams has the UK's Christmas No.1 album after a successful year that saw the singer embark on a European stadium tour.
