Sarah Harding almost an X-Man

Sarah Harding has revealed that she nearly landed a role in the new ‘X-Men’ franchise film ‘X-Men: First Class'.

The Girls Aloud singer was called back for three auditions for the role of Emma Frost in the film, but ultimately lost out to actress January Jones.

Harding – who has previously starred in the over-the-top, coming-of-age romps ‘St. Trinian’s’ films – was just thrilled to have gotten so far in the auditions for the super-hero prequel.

“I got called back three times for ‘X Men’, but I missed out on the part to January Jones which was fine, she’s a more established actress, but I was pleased to have got that far down the line.”

The singer has been offered several roles, but is waiting for the perfect one, she explained to OK!: “I’m getting quite a few offers but I’m being quite picky. I thought Uma Thurman was great in ‘Kill Bill’ – I’d love a kick ass role!”
