The Wanted tease new album details

Heartthrobs The Wanted have leaked a few snippets of information regarding their forthcoming new studio album.

When asked about the record's potential release date, members Siva Kaneswaran and Jay McGuiness explained to Digital Spy that fans should expect it to come out at some point during April next year.

The lads also teased that they've written some great material and can't wait to share it with everyone: "It's coming out in April and we've got 7 great songs set, we're just waiting to get a few more.

McGuiness added that there aren't any collaborations with other artists on the offering, but they kept the same team that worked with them on 2011's 'Battleground': "A few people we worked with on the last album, but no big celebrities!"

They also confirmed that a single is likely to be released before the album: "At least one before is customary and then maybe a few more."

During another interview with London's Metro newspaper, The Wanted explained that singer Tom Parker fractured his nose during their video shoot for 'I Found You': "Tom took a bit of hefty whack to the nose. We thought he was making it up but it turned out he got a hairline fracture. They couldn’t do anything about it."
