Boyband The Wanted recently struck an unexpected friendship with Lindsay Lohan and member Max George has revealed that she parties just as hard as they do, and described her as a "groupie".

Speaking to Capital FM after the Jingle Bell Ball, George explained that she spent some time hanging out on their tour bus and they were joined by Ed Sheeran, which led to a few crazy nights taking place:

"We met her on a night out and she was really cool and she really liked our music so she came on the tour bus and Ed Sheeran came on and we had one big messy week."

When asked if he had kissed Lohan, George joked: "Did I snog her or him? Me and Ed were getting it on all the time. She's just a friend to all of us now. What's the right word for her? A yeah, a groupie!"

Member Tom Parker also added that Sheeran was a lot of fun to be around: "Ed Sheeran is the craziest ginger mother f***** I've ever seen. He is wild. He was just on the tour bus getting pissed and then Max took a picture of him asleep in the bunk passed out."
