The Vamps treat fans to cover of Foster The People hit

British pop rock band The Vamps are known for their great cover renditions and they've now shared a new offering with their followers.

Member Brad Simpson takes on lead vocal duties in the video, which was filmed on a cable car ride, and the song they chose to perform is Foster The People's anthem, 'Pumped Up Kicks'. Guitarist James McVey provides backing vocals and harmonies, and the footage was shot by Dean Sherwood.

Tweeting about the cover this afternoon (February 10), McVey explained that it was a really exciting video to record: "Had fun doing this cover. By the man, the myth, the legend @DeanSherwood."

The Vamps, meanwhile, are due to kick off their upcoming UK headlining tour on April 17 at the Hydro Arena in Glasgow. The run will come to an end on May 8 in Birmingham at the LG Arena. Back in December, the heartthrobs told Young Hollywood that they're upping the production for their live set this time around: "It's a world tour - it's awesome. We can't wait to go into production and to make the show better. We're going to Australia, Japan, and Manila..."
