Avril Lavigne denies Amanda Bynes collaboration reports: 'I've only met her once, but she was so nice'

'Here's To Never Growing Up' songstress Avril Lavigne has revealed that there is no weight behind the rumours that suggest she will be working on music with actress Amanda Bynes.

Back in May, it was reported that 'Hairspray' star Bynes (pictured below) would be collaborating with the pop-rocker on her song 'Rock and Roll', but Lavigne has now confirmed to Page Six that a duet is definitely not on the cards:

"The only thing I have to say about her is that the one time I met her, it was for the Race to Erase MS event. I'm on the board of that foundation. She was in the bathroom and she was at that  event, she said 'hi' to me, I said 'hi' to her."

"And she was really nice  in the bathroom. That's my only personal experience with her so it was  positive."
