5SOS's Ashton Irwin defends his photoshopped big thighs

5SOS's Ashton Irwin was surprised when his thighs were photoshopped to look slimmer for the recent Rolling Stones magazine cover which showed the band butt-naked and covered in writing.

The drummer tweeted: "They made my thigh skinny, in real life my band calls be 'quad-zilla lol (sic)".

'Quad-zilla' reckons is legs are much larger than they have been depicted by Rolling Stones, so the photo has obviously been played around with to look more slender.

Photoshopping is a regular occurance with images of female singers, models and actresses but this is the first time that a male popstar has commented that a photo of him has been digitally enhanced.

Earlier last year, Ted Baker denied enhancing an image of Meghan Trainor. Demi Lovato also recently spoke out against it, stating:

"Photoshop portrays an image of perfection that is unattainable."

Even Jennifer Hudson complained that, although she loved her album cover, she was disappointed that she didn't look like that in the flesh, as the photo was heavily photoshopped.
