UK rapper Chipmunk has shot to the top of the midweek charts with his Chris Brown collaboration, 'Champion'. 

The young star spoke out to BBC's Newsbeat last year, November 29, about the disappointment he felt after the track leaked and said:

"When it leaked... I was looking at the sky asking, "God, why?", I just didn't understand."

Luckily for Chipmunk, this setback hasn't had a negative impact on the record as it's now at number 1 in the UK singles chart and has knocked Jessie J's 'Price Tag' down a place to 2. The Official Charts Company also reported that 'Champion' has a "solid lead" at this halfway point.
