Singer-songwriter Nathan Sykes has revealed that he's really excited to be a part of the UK music scene at this point in time.

Speaking to press at the Glamour Awards, the 'Over and Over Again' heartthrob explained that there is some amazing music coming from the country right now and he's so proud to be involved with his solo material:

"You know what, I think in this day and age music is incredible. There are so many fantastic artists and it's such an amazing time for British music. I just hope to keep on growing as a solo artist and to be included in that conversation."

When asked about his raunchy music video for 'Give It Up', Sykes confessed that his mother refuses to watch it because it's far too sexy: "She hasn't watched it! No, she won't watch it... refuses to watch it [...] It was really fun filming it."
