Nick Jonas on solo music: 'There are songs that I want people to have sex to'

Superstar Nick Jonas has just launched his solo career and he revealed that he wanted to capture different emotions with the songs that make up his debut record.

During a new interview with Flaunt magazine, the heartthrob admitted that some of his new solo material has a sexy edge that he hopes will get people in the mood:

"I really try to be aware of the purpose of each song. There are songs on my record that I want people to have sex to, and songs people can listen to when they're p***ed off. And I think that's the beautiful thing about music: that in those moments, you hear it and it elevates the scenario."

Earlier this week, the 'Jealous' hitmaker explained that his brothers, Joe and Kevin Jonas, are both very supportive of this new period in his life

"They both really love the song and were supportive on Twitter and stuff, which felt great. I played them some more of the [album] now, and they really love it. It feels good. I think we were a band for a long time, so there always is going to be a sensitivity there that I feel, but I'm thrilled to have brothers that support me and I support them in their solo ventures."
