Heartthrob Louis Tomlinson shocked fans last week by revealing a saucy secret during a question and answer session at a concert.

One Direction performed a show in Charlotte, North Carolina on June 27 and the lads stopped singing for a while to chat with their inquisitive audience when one of their followers asked a rather personal question.

An excited Directioner quizzed Tomlinson on an intimate matter and inquired: "Have you ever measured your penis?”

He showed no embarrassment and quickly replied "yeah!", although he didn't elaborate or give away any specific details.

He also took to social networking site Twitter last night (July 1) and set the record straight about his supposed audition for boyband The Wanted, writing: "That is literally the best rumour I've heard! I was at school when they were put together."
