Plan B to star in 'The Sweeney' remake

Plan B is expanding his acting experience with a role in the forthcoming remake of 'The Sweeney'. 

The 'She Said' star, real name Ben Drew, will take on the challenge of portraying character Detective Sergeant George Carter who was first played by Dennis Waterman in the original '70's cop series. 

Speaking to The Sun newspaper about his decision to come onboard with the project, he revealed that he will star alongside Ray Winstone, which is a "dream come true". 

He also added:

"He [Winstone] is one of my favourite British actors of all time. I'm really excited about working with Nick Love in what I feel will be a challenging role for me to play,"

The film is due to be released in 2012, although nothing has yet been officially confirmed. Watch Plan B talk about his passion for music and teaming up with ADIDAS here:
