The Vamps' James: 'Taylor Swift taught us a lot on tour'

Country-pop sensation Taylor Swift performed a series of concerts in London at the beginning of February and The Vamps' James McVey has revealed that supporting her run of dates was inspiring and education.

Band member and self-confessed 'Swiftie' James McVey told Ryan Seacrest that they learned some great lessons from her while they supported her at London's O2 Arena, which included the importance of on-stage confidence:

“First of all, she was really confident when she was speaking to the audience. Secondly her stage band was also amazing. I think we kind of strive to be that together on stage.” The 'Can We Dance' heartthrob added: "Her crew was so friendly and welcoming. So Taylor taught us a lot."

Earlier this month, McVey revealed that he had an awkward run-in with a hotel's housekeeping team after they walked in on him without any clothes on: "House keeping, house keeping... House keeping. Artists and band members will also hate these words. I was naked."

The Vamps are gearing up to release their new single, 'Last Night', on April 7 and their music video for the track has been announced as coming "soon".
