British hitmakers The Vamps are due to make an "exciting" Australian announcement later tonight.

Writing on their collective Twitter page this morning, the heartthrobs explained that they have something exciting to announce later on for their fans down under and also shared a photo of a map of the country:

"Australia! Tune into Nova FM, we're announcing something exciting with @Smallzy tonight from 7pm. Hehe."

Yesterday (May 13), channel V Music also shared a message promising the release of some "massive" news relating to the 'Last Night' pop-rockers and tweeted: "Tomorrow 8am AEST we have our MASSIVE Australian @TheVampsband announcement. ARGHHHH. CAN'T. WAIT. #VHitsTheVamps."

Last week, guitarist James McVey told his followers on the social networking site to keep an eye out for something that will be happening in October besides their headlining UK jaunt: "Very excited for something that's happening in October, aside from our tour!!!"
