International songstress Nicole Scherzinger has congratulated Rylan Clark on his "shamazeballs" Celebrity Big Brother win.

The former X Factor contestant was crowned the victor of the hit reality TV series last night (January 25) - beating American stars Heidi and Spencer Pratt to the coveted Big Brother crown in the final showdown.

A host of stars took to Twitter to congratulate Clark on his deserved win, with his former X Factor mentor gushing about his time on the show.

Scherzinger wrote: "Congrats @RylanClark!!! Ur shamazeballs sweetie, I'm proud of u! Xo Nic (sic)."

Clark's X Factor buddies also took to the social networking site to send their best wishes to the charming singer.

The singing show's champion James Arthur simply wrote: "Yes Rylan!!!!" after he was announced the winner during last night's live final, while Jahmene Douglas exclaimed: " woo, WELL DONE ! @RylanClark <3 woop woooooop ! See you and your craziness tomorrow. No doubt you'll be shattered :P x (sic)."

Douglas' message is in reference to The X Factor live tour, which kicks off today in Manchester.

It was recently revealed that Clark had been leaving the Celebrity Big Brother house to attend rehearsals for the tour, after former housemate Gillian Taylforth revealed the news on a TV show.

A spokesperson for Channel 5 confirmed that Clark has been rehearsing, revealing: "Rylan has rehearsed for his tour on site with a choreographer, escorted by a Big Brother producer."
