X Factor girl group Rhythmix forced to change name
X Factor girl group Rhythmix have announced they will change their name because it's exactly the same as that of a UK children's charity.
Unfortunately, the quartet have the same name as a music based charity for young people and after the organisation's chief executive, Mark Davyd, approached the show and asked for the situation to be rectified a spokesperson for The X Factor confirmed that Rhythmix will now pick a new moniker:
"At the request of the charity Rhythmix, the members of the girl group Rhythmix have decided to change their name, a decision which has the support of Syco and TalkbackTHAMES. The group's new name will be announced in due course."
