The Vamps on fame: 'It feels like we just left college - we're normal guys'

British pop-rock band The Vamps have opened up about their impressive rise to fame and confessed that they don't look at themselves as celebrities because they're the same guys they were at school

Drummer Tristan Evans explained that they still don't consider themselves to be famous and are just amazed to be given such incredible opportunities: "We don't class ourselves as that. We're just normal. It seems like we just left college - we're doing so much and can't take it all in."

When asked about their goals for the future, 'Last Night' heartthrob Evans told The Showbiz 411 that they're excited with everything they're doing at the moment and it's all a dream come true:

"I mean... an album, we want to get that to as many ears as possible... tour as well. We're touring in September."

James McVey then offered fans a glimpse into his home decor and admitted that he has a strange ornament in his garden: "I've got a windmill in my garden, it's a miniature one and I got it from Cornwall. No one knows that I've got a windmill in my back garden."

Member Brad Simpson, meanwhile, recently admitted that he was shocked when he went home last because he got mobbed on a night out and couldn't believe how quickly he has gathered attention: "There are some people around me who blow it out of proportion, which is a bit overwhelming, people are a little too full on with it. I went out in my home town but I just had people coming up to me. I just want to chill out with my mates either in their car or around their houses. I just want to come home and be a normal guy."
