Charlotte Church hands out Christmas cheer to hospital's patients
Charlotte Church embraced the Christmas spirit by turning up to Cardiff's Children's Hospital of Wales and handing out presents to patients.
The singer, who recently stunned the public by giving shocking evidence in the phone hacking trial, helped to raise the spirits of the hospital's patients on Monday (December 19) during a surprise visit.
She gave a speech during the trip and also posed for photographs with the staff, telling them "As a mother, I can only imagine how difficult it must be to have your babies in hospital."
"I love coming to this place. It has such a great atmosphere, it’s a great hospital. It’s also fantastic to be working with the Noah’s Ark Appeal, especially at Christmas time and to bring some cheer for the children who are here over Christmas."
