The Vamps' Tristan on weird fan requests: 'Someone recently kept asking for pieces of my clothing'

Drummer Tristan Evans, of The Vamps fame, has opened up about some of the most bizarre things fans have asked him for and confessed that someone recently tried to take pieces of his clothing from his body in a bar.

Speaking to Chronicle Live about his band's devoted followers, the 'Last Night' heartthrob explained that the mother of a fan approached him and asked him for his bandana and bracelet, which he was actually wearing at the time:

"Yeah, I was in a bar the other day and the mum of a fan came up to me and said “please can I have your bandana?” I said no, because I quite like my bandana. So then she asked for my bracelet. Again, I said no. And then she kept asking and asking for different items of my clothing for her daughter. I kept having to say no, which I felt a bit bad about."

Evans added: "Thankfully they (the rest of The Vamps) weren’t there. The daughter actually looked a bit embarrassed at what her mum was doing. It was fine, I just kept cool..."

Evans also opened up about the recent release of their debut album, 'Meet The Vamps', and added that it's amazing to have unveiled their first record together: "We’ve been writing it for a number of years now, and we’re super-excited about getting it out there. I’m really pleased with how it sounds. Listening back to an album of stuff you’ve done is actually pretty surreal, and for me, I love hearing 'She Was The One' - that was one of the first songs we wrote as a band and it felt like a real achievement."
