Gary Barlow promises to 'look after' his contestant Marcus Collins

X Factor judge Gary Barlow how vowed to take care of his talented contestant Marcus Collins now that the competition has finished.

Collins, who lost out on being crowned the winner to girl group Little Mix, was mentored by the 'Patience' singer throughout the contest and will be "well taken care of" now that X Factor has come to an end.

Speaking to Caroline Flack and Olly Murs on the Xtra Factor, Barlow said:

"I'm going to make sure he's well looked after...To get him the right label, right deal, right song-writer, right album. I want to make sure this lad's well taken care of."

Tweeting to his fans after the competition, Collins wrote: "Thank you so much to all those who supported me. I'm sure I'll be seeing you all very soon!!xxxx"
